Chapter 2
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
** A couple days later **
Cordelia dropped her father’s body on the floor and licked the last drop of blood off her lips.
Finally, the bastards who had dared to call themselves her parents were dead.
They had never paid any attention to her, except to criticize her. Tell her she wasn’t pretty
enough, smart enough, social enough, she wasn’t good enough. She’d had stayed at home for
the past couple of days, ‘sick’, so she’d be there when they finally came home from yet another
‘business trip’. She had killed the servants as soon as a maid had let her in a few days before.
Then she’d waited around, knowing that they would return soon. And when they had, she’d
drained them dry.
Cordelia had greeted them as if everything was normal when they arrived at first, but as soon as
her parents had gone their separate ways, she took care of business. First she’d killed her
mother, snapped her neck, torn open her throat, and sucked her dry.
Then she moved on to her father. She’d tortured, beaten, and tormented him for a long time until
she grew tired of playing with her food and killed him as well.
She collected the bodies, and as soon as the sun had set, buried them all deep in the woods of
the estate. Finally she returned home to her new family.
~*~
** The next day **
Angelus stormed into the mansion, “Where’s Drusilla Spike?” he demanded.
“Keep calm Angelus, she’s playing with her new childe.” Spike answered calmly from his
position near the window, where he was looking out into the night.
“Dru created a childe?”
Spike leaned against the wall shrugging, “She wanted us to have a child, sort of. She wanted to
be a Mum. She chose the girl, I brought her to her. Definitely a lively one at first, but she’s a lot
like Dru at times. Plus it seems as though that sixth-sense of Dru’s transfers onto her childe, at
least it did with this one.”
Just then Cordelia came floating in, wearing a flowing dark red sheer dress, with a long skirt, a
tight bodice, no sleeves, and two strips of fabric which flowed behind from the back of the
shoulders. Her long dark hair was in rows of little French braids at the top, and then the braids
were bobbie-pinned down, the rest hung loosely curled down on her back.
“Papa, I’m hungry, Mother said you’d take me out to hunt!”
Angelus did a double take, “Cordelia?!” he glared at Spike incredulously, “You turned one of
the slayers friends into a childe?”
“Papa didn’t! Mother did silly.” She told him giggling
Spike had to laugh when Angelus growled at being called silly, the only one who had ever
dared call him silly was Darla, anyone else who had, had soon found themselves dead.
Spike pushed of the wall, sauntered over to Cordelia and put his arm around her waist, “Told
you she became a lot like Dru, unless she’s cross, or insulted, then she’s pure vixen, and still
completely tactless too.”
Dru came skipping in, “Daddy! Have you met my Lia?”
“Not this form of her. Dru, that was Cordelia, one of the slayers friends.” Angelus calmly
explained to his sanity-challenged childe.
“But she’s mine now. The slayer betrayed her first. Now I have a little girl to play dolls with me.
Miss Edith said she’d like her new Mummy and Papa better then her old.”
“That’s right pet. She’s had lots of fun.” Spike agreed.
“Daddy, will you take her out to play? Spike and I have things to do. I want you to protect my
Lia. If the Slayer hurts her, I shall be very cross with you.” Then she grabbed Spike’s hand, not
waiting for Angelus’s answer, “I’m certain Daddy and Lia shall really adore each other.” She
called out as they leave the mansion.
Angelus sighed, “Come on ‘Lia’, we’re gonna go have some fun.”
“Good, I want to have play with the Slayer’s pals.” Cordelia revealed to him, an evil smile
gracing her face.
Angelus slowly turned back to her, grinning when he caught sight of the expression on her face,
“I think you and I are going to get along perfectly. Cordelia, would you do me the honor of
allowing me to escort you to the Spring Fling?”
“For the first time in my life, I find myself dateless, since I dumped that jerk before Mother
turned me. It would be my pleasure.” As an after thought she added, “Oh, and call me Lia, like
Papa and Mother do, Angel.”
Angelus growled, “Ok fine, I won’t call you Cordelia, Lia.”
“Good, now let’s go make some carnage. You get the minions, I’ll get my shoes!”
Cordelia returned wearing ballet slippers that matched her dress a few minutes later. She
pirouetted, then joined the other vampire, and the group of minions, “Let’s go eat.”
~*~
** 20 minutes later **
The Slayerettes all stood near the punch bowl.
“So, Xander, where’s Cordelia?” Buffy questioned curious.
“Oh, we broke up, but she should be here somewhere . . .”
“Ooh, there she is!” Willow pointed out the attractive girl, “What a pretty dress.”
Xander looked at Cordelia longingly, “Um guys, I’ll try to come back, but I have to talk with
her.” Xander didn’t even wait for a response.
Meanwhile Cordelia stood by herself, looking vulnerable, the minions were hitting on girls,
taking them outside, and draining them.
She whirled around when someone tapped her on the shoulder, Xander, damn.
“Hey Cordelia.”
“What do you want Xander?” Cordelia demanded coldly, but inside she was groaning, ’Xander,
why did it have to be Xander? I might be a cruel, soulless vampress, but that doesn’t mean I don’t still care
about him. I couldn’t bite him if I had to . . . but I’m so hungry, and his heart is beating so hard.’
“Nothing, well, something . . . Listen, we need to talk.”
“No.” ’Oh his heart’s pounding faster, the blood is rushing through his veins!’
“Please, we really need to talk Cordy-.”
Cordelia began to get annoyed, “Don’t you dare call me Cordy, you don’t have the right. And
we don’t need to talk.”
“Yes - we do.” He told her vehemently.
The night Xander had betrayed her came back in flashes to her, her hate for him boiled up to the
surface, and she smiled at him coyly, “Alright, come on, lets go into the hallway, for some
privacy.”
Xander nodded, then pulled her out of the crowded gymnasium.
Angelus had watched the exchange, and when the former couple left the dance, he silently,
stealthily followed behind them.
Once they were far from the dance, in the halls of the school, Xander took a deep breath,
“Cordelia, I am so sorry, I really am. I love you.”
“Yeah, well you should have thought of that before you decided to end things between us.”
“I know, I’m a complete idiot. I don’t know what I was thinking.”
“I know what you were thinking you heartless bastard...and no one, but no one gets away with
hurting me.” She took hold of his arms and held him tightly with her vampiric strength, tipping
his head back she vamped out.
“Oh my God!” Xander exclaimed.
“Now why’d you have to go and bring him into this? There’s no one like that here, but when
you get up to where he is, tell my soul I said hello.” Then she sunk her fangs into the pulsing
vein.
Xander could feel his life draining away, ‘Please let someone come.’ Then he slipped into
unconsciousness.
Someone did, just not anyone he would like, “Lia, don’t drain him completely, we’ll leave him
to tell the Slayer.”
Cordelia reluctantly withdrew her fangs and dropped Xander on the ground roughly, his head
hitting the floor with a clunk.
“Ooh, that’s gonna probably leave a mark.” Angelus laughed, “Come one, we’ve got thank-you-
notes to write. I sent the minions back to the mansion.” Angelus informed her as he led the way.
Cordelia followed him to the library, where they wrote their thank-you's, one for Giles, thanking
him for the new swords (which they’d just stolen). Angelus wrote another for Buffy, thanking
her again for releasing him from that curse, while Cordelia wrote one to Xander, thanking him
for the lovely meal, and her current state.
They left Giles’s on his desk, and then went to go deliver the other two. Buffy’s was very simple
to deliver; Angelus just opened her bedroom window, climbed in, and left it on her nightstand.
Xander’s was trickier, but not too hard. Angelus waited behind a tree, while Cordelia knocked
on the door.
Xander’s mother answered it.
“Hello Mrs. Harris, I’m Cordelia, Xander’s girlfriend.” Cordelia lied, acting very sweet.
“He’s not home.”
“Oh, well he borrowed my notes for history, which I really need because I have a test Monday.”
“Come in.”
Mrs. Harris told her where to find Xander’s room, and then went back to the living room.
Cordelia looked around Xander’s room with laughter, he had tons of picture’s framed of her on
his dresser, so she took a red permanent marker and drew fangs on the glass of the 8x10, then
propped her note to him up on it.
Xander’s mother was engrossed in the TV once more, so she didn’t even notice Cordelia leave,
without any textbooks
Angelus was starting to get impatient when the front door finally reopened. Cordelia flounced
back to his hiding place behind the tree, giggling.
“He had a shrine to me on his dresser! There were lots of pictures. I drew fangs on the glass of
the 8x10 of me and left the note. Thank you Angelus, a delightful evening, just like you
promised.”
~*~
Buffy, Willow, Oz, Giles were getting worried. It had been over an hour and Xander still hadn’t
returned.
“Where is he?!” Buffy demanded, asking no one in particular.
“Last time I saw him, he was trying to talk to a very detached looking Cordelia.” Willow
reported.
“Maybe be we should go look for him, she might have hurt his feelings or something.”
“Perhaps your right. I think I saw them go into that hallway.” Giles pointed to the doors from
which Cordelia and Xander had exited earlier.
The four all go in search for their friend.
“I smell blood.” Oz revealed soon after entering the halls.
“You do? Led us there.” Buffy ordered.
“I’m not a blood hound.” He told her, yet led the way to where the scent of blood was strongest.
Soon they spotted the unconscious Xander.
“Oh Goddess!” Willow cried.
Buffy quickly checked for a pulse, “He’s got a pulse, and he’s breathing . . . Xander, Xander
wake up!”
Xander groaned, “Oh my neck.” He grabbed the place where Cordelia had bitten him.
“Xander, are you ok?” Buffy asked concerned, taking her wrap and pressing it to the bite wound
on his neck.
He looked at them with haunted eyes, “She bit me....She drank my blood.”
“What? Who?” Giles inquired.
“Cordelia! Someone turned her into a blood sucker!”
“Drusilla, Spike, or Angelus I’m betting.” Buffy speculated gravely.
“So what are we going to do about it?”
“I don’t know...”
~*~
“I wanna have a different kind of fun...with you.” Cordelia announced once she and Angelus
were alone in the mansion, gazing at him seductively.
Another side of ‘Lia’ had been revealed, Angelus found her almost the opposite of the one he’d
first met just hours before. She was a pure vixen, and a very sexy one.
She sashayed over to him, swinging her hips provocatively, and rubbed her hand over his
muscular chest, “I want to work off all those calories that sugar loaded blood of my ex’s must
have contained.”
“Oh really?” He asked seductively
Cordelia rubbed herself against him, circling, “You’re so hot in leather too...or should I say
chilling?” she trailed her fingers along his shoulders on his back, starting to walk away.
Angelus’s arm shot out and grabbed her around the waist, “And were do you think you’re
going?” he growled, pulling her tightly against him.
“Nowhere, now...” Cordelia purred, placing her arms round his neck.
Angelus was getting very turned on.
“Actually, I always had a thing for you, when I was alive too.” She revealed, “Every night, I
would lie awake in my bed, thinking about you, touching myself. Imagining your cold hands all
over my naked body...while I was longing, yearning, aching for the real thing.” Lia whispered in
a hushed voice in his ear.
That was when Angelus lost control, he had been wanting her all night, and he was getting
aroused to the point where it was painful. He kissed her savagely on the mouth once more.
Cordelia kissed back passionately, opening her mouth to his advances. Their tongues battled,
darting in and out. Hands were everywhere, Angelus’s finally ended up on Cordelia’s ass,
lifting her up. Cordelia wrapped her legs firmly around his waist.
Somehow they made it to the master bedroom (where Angelus obviously resided), he kicked
the door closed behind them.
Quickly they accomplished their tasks undressing each other. Angelus’s shirt was already gone,
as was one of Cordelia’s ballet slippers. They practically tore off each other’s clothes, Angelus’s
boots, Cordelia’s other ballet slipper, Angelus’s leather pants.
Now Angelus lay on the bed, in his black silk boxers, where Cordelia had pushed him.
“I’m not letting you ruin this dress.” Cordelia was adamant about that fact, “Besides, it comes
off very easily.” Cordelia reached behind her and untied the small ribbon, which had kept the
bodice so tight under her breasts. She slipped one strap off her shoulder, then the other. The
dress just fell off her body, pooling into a puddle on the floor. She’d failed to mention that she
wasn’t wearing anything underneath.
Angelus growled at her in lust.
“Like what you see?” She asked, moving slowly to the bed.
Angelus pulled her onto the middle of the bed, pinning her underneath him, “You’re mine
now.” He proclaimed.
Cordelia raised one of her eyebrows, “Is that so? Hmm, ok, I’ll make a deal with you, I’m yours,
if you, are mine. No more rendezvous with Mother, since it makes Papa upset, or any other
females, or males for that matter, and I’m yours.”
“You don’t have the right to ask that.” Angelus growled.
“Why not? You’re not my sire, or my master. And I know thousands of men, alive and undead
who would destroy the world for me if I asked them.” Her eyes were hard in determination,
“You have no right to say that I can be yours only, if you are not mine.”
Angelus knew it right then, he’d been beaten. She was just so- so beautiful, manipulative,
carefree, immoral, vindictive, headstrong, and sexy rolled into one. Angelus, the name that had
stuck terror into the hearts of thousands for over two centuries at just the mere the mention of
his name, found himself falling for a teenager, an amazingly attractive one, but still a girl.
“Fine, but I’ll kill you if I ever find out you’ve been with anyone else.” He threatened, trying to
still sound dangerous.
“Doesn’t matter, because I only wanted to be yours.”
Angelus claimed her mouth once more, pulling the sheets over them. Cordelia kissed back and
pulled off his boxers.
She reflexively gasped the first time he slammed into her, she was very inexperienced, and the
last guy she’d had sex with, had taken her virginity. That had been two years ago, and he’d been
much smaller, compared to the very large Angelus.
Angelus did have a shred of compassion in him, and when he saw Cordelia was in pain, he
went slower, until she moaned and wrapped her legs around his waist. They rolled around,
fighting for who was in charge.
Cordelia had never imagined sex could feel so good. Angelus fit so perfectly with her. It was as
if their bodies were made for each other. He thrust faster and deeper, Cordelia’s thrusts met his,
and the headboard pounded against the wall.
The candles in the room gave off a soft light, which sent shadows in all directions.
Angelus and Cordelia’s faces morphed, as they got closer to climaxing.
She bucked hard and cried out, “Angelus!” then she bit him and withdrew his blood as she
peaked.
Angelus slammed into her again and again, and he sunk his fangs into her neck, marking her as
his mate, thrusting faster and faster then shooting his cold dead load into her.
Cordelia came again, and then passed out.
Angelus collapsed next to her, not surprised that she had, he was 246 years old, and it had made
him tired. They’d fought for control just as much as they were kissing and slamming into each
other. He fell asleep next to her, both dreaming of the last hour...in their subconscious, they
sensed each other’s blood coursing through their veins, joining them forever.
** Hours later **
Angelus awoke to someone pounding on his doors. He slipped on his boxers and threw open
the door snarling, “WHAT?”
It was Spike, “Dru’s all upset. Lia’s not in her room. She went to go kiss her good morning, and
no one was there . . .” Spike trailed off when Angelus took a step back and Spike set eyes upon
Lia in Angelus’s bed, all essential parts covered up, but obviously naked.
“She’s sleeping. Like I was, if you wake me up again, I’m going to put holy water in your food.”
Spike walked away grumbling, “I’ve never met a man who could be as cranky as you are after
having sex . . .”
Angelus slammed the door behind him, and then went back to bed.
~*~
** The library **
“So, there are three notes?” Giles probed, trying to get his bearings.
“Yep, one to me,” Buffy gestured to herself, “one to Xander, and one to you.”
“Perhaps we should read them aloud.” Giles suggested.
“Sounds like a good plan.” Willow nodded her head in agreement.
“I’ll go first then.” Giles offered, “
Dear Mr. Giles,
Lia and I would like to cordially thank you for these two
beautiful swords that you have ‘donated’ to our cause.
We promise we shall use them often in torture sessions. We
just hope that someday you and your companions will one-day get to get
to experience first hand the joy we shall derive from these.
Your murderous vampires,
Angelus and Lia (Cordelia)
P.S. Lia would also like to advise Buffy that the dress she wore to the
dance was, and I quote, ‘So last month’. And that the shade of green
Willow wore doesn’t flatter her complexion. But that Giles, Oz, and
Xander all looked, and I quote again, hot in their tuxes.”
“God, she’s still insulting us now that she’s undead.” Buffy grumbled.
“So I see. Um, I found it on my desk, so we know they were in here.”
“I’ll go next.” Buffy sighed, “I found it next to my bed.
My dearest Slayer Buffy,
This is just a note to thank you again. If you hadn’t fucked
me, I never would have gotten free so soon. Now I can kill, torture,
and maim again. And all thanks to you, I haven’t had so much fun
in, 80 years! My ring rests on my dresser, a daily reminder of the
girl who set me free.
I turned a few teenagers tonight, all of whom I told they
could thank Buffy for their condition when they woke once more
before they died. I know, you’re wondering where the bodies are.
Did you think I was going to leave them sitting there for you to kill?
No, I sent them back with some minions, don’t worry thought, you’ll
see them again.
Your demon lover,
Angelus
P.S. Lia reminded me to tell you that your roots are showing.”
“That last comment was unnecessary.” Willow commented as Buffy quickly brought her hand
up to her hair. “And the first part was just cruel.”
“Quite. Now Xander, yours?” Giles prompted.
“I found mine in my bedroom, my mother had invited Cordelia in. She left it propped up
against a picture of her I had.” Xander set the picture and frame, which he’d brought with him
on the table, “She drew the fangs. Anyway, her letter was much longer.
Dear Alexander,
First of all, I’d like to thank you for dinner. You were quite
appetizing. I think all that sugar you eat sweetened your blood. I
wanted to drink you all up, but that meanie Angelus told me to
leave you to report back to the Slayer.
What I really want to thank you for is my present state of
being, a vampress. A very powerful one at that, with psychic
abilities too! I bet your wondering how it all came to pass. Well,
remember that night you and Buffy kissed in the cemetery? I was
coming to give you two some coffee and I saw you, as you now
know. Heart broken, I still gave you two the coffee, then you took
me off to the side and told me you thought we needed to take a
break. If you could have seen your face when I told you I thought
you were right <grin> . . .
Anyway, I walked off, and I admit, I started crying, sobbing
in fact. I was so involved in my self-pity party I didn’t even noticed
Spike until it was too late, he knocked me out, and I’m guessing
that’s when he carried me to the mansion. Apparently, Drusilla
was lonely, and she chose me to be her childe. She’s the one who
drained me, and then had me drink her blood. When I re-awoke Mother
(Dru) kissed me on my forehead and Papa (Spike) told me,
“Welcome to the family.” In those brief moments Mother and
Papa showed me more affection then the Chases’ had in 17 years.
That was five days ago, and I’ve been having fun ever
since.
Angelus is complaining, so I have to go. I’m hoping he and
I can have some fun tonight, you know, the kind you’re still a
VIRGIN of.
Yours evilly,
‘Lia (That’s what Mother,
Papa, and Angelus call me)
P.S. You know, you could look really cute if you cut your hair
about half an inch and used some hair gel. Just a tip!
“Ok, so what do we know?” Giles questioned.
“Cordelia’s a vampire.” Xander reported obviously
“And Drusilla’s childe, not just a minion.” Willow added
“They can get into Buffy and Xander’s homes, but they didn’t hurt your parents at all.” Giles
stated
“It’s all a game, to show that they have the power, the upper hand. That they can get to us
whenever they want.” Buffy enlightened them calmly.
“So what are we going to do about it?” Willow asked.
There was silence for a long time, until the thing that was really troubling Buffy came out.
“My roots aren’t showing, are they guys?”
